The January 2008 meeting was held at DirecTV in El Segundo. |

With all of these different television programs on, it's a wonder
that the receptionist at the front desk doesn't get distracted and not
notice people coming and going from right under her nose. |

This is the conference room that the meeting was hosted in,
pre-disaster created by the HDI folks getting food all over the place. |

This is the Support Center at DirecTV. It is quite clean and
organized for an IT group, wouldn't you say? |

We had a great turnout at the January
meeting. Not only were there people sitting in every seat around the
table, but there were chairs along the wall on both sides of the room as
well.
The food provided was plentiful and everyone seemed to enjoy it. |

Mary introduced the Board members to the attendees while we were
enjoying our lunch, prior to giving a background on our speaker, Kirk
Weisler. |

The crowd mingled and socialized, making new contacts and sharing
their experiences. |
