TOPIC:  The Culture of the End-User has Changed the Service – the Support Model has not!

PRESENTER: Mike Porter, Chief Operating Officer (COO) ii2P

In most companies “the correct application of technology and processes” from an end-user perspective take an inside-out view.  This limits its wide spread usage because, in many cases, it’s governed by the service desk’s view of where, when and how it should be applied.  Most of the technologies and process re-engineering efforts have been targeted at the in-house IT infrastructure not the end-user.  The end-user doesn’t have a choice how they would like their service to be provided.

Mike presented his perspectives on how to identify when this is happening and what to do to change it.
