Our Mission

We are a member-driven organization established to support the Los Angeles area Customer Support Professionals to provide a networking forum and programs for the continuous improvement of the Customer Support Industry.  We promote member collaboration, networking opportunities and educational programs leading to a better informed IT Support industry

As a local chapter of the Help Desk Institute (HDI), we strive to share information about the technologies, tools, and trends of the help desk and customer support industry with our colleagues.

HDI offers a variety of services to meet the evolving needs of the Help Desk and Customer Support professional.  Some of the most successful organizations know that HDI training classes, conferences, publications, local chapter meetings and other membership benefits are cost-effective ways to keep up-to-date on the latest innovations in the industry.  Information available to our membership will assist you and your Help Desk to provide world-class support and service.

HDI is member-focused and remains vendor-neutral in its efforts to facilitate open, independent networking and information sharing within the association’s global network.

Meeting Information

If you are interested in hosting a meeting, giving a presentation, or if you know of a guest speaker to bring in, please contact one of the HDI Los Angeles Officers. We are always looking for new guest speakers!

Meetings are held monthly at various host locations. Traditionally meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of the month between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM, with lunch being provided.  However, occasionally we will accommodate guest speakers by holding the meeting on a day and time better suited to their schedule.
